Updated 11 September 2026: added a named vendor comparison, checked current product documentation, clarified the North American benchmark sample, and expanded the answer on data and export limits.
How to compare the best loyalty apps for aesthetic clinics in the UAE
The receptionist already has a queue. Another dashboard needs a better introduction than "it has more features".
Start with the decision you cannot make today. Is it who has stopped coming? What a patient has earned? Who should follow up? Or how many sessions remain in a treatment package? Those are different jobs, even when a software vendor puts them in the same brochure.
We make LoyalsClub, one of the options below. This is a shortlist to help you evaluate the job, not an independent ranking or a complete directory of UAE suppliers.
| Job | What to ask the vendor to show |
|---|---|
| Rewards | How patients earn, see and redeem benefits, and how staff correct an error |
| Retention reporting | Last completed visit, relevant visit intervals, and the people who need attention |
| Outreach | Who sends messages, through which channel, and whether scheduling is included |
| Clinical scheduling | Treatment plans, package sessions, follow-up requirements and the clinical record |
A loyalty tool can help with the commercial relationship. It should not set the patient's treatment timetable.
Why the question is worth asking
Zenoti's 2026 medspa report describes North American businesses on its platform during 2025. New guest visits fell 11%, while existing guest visits fell 2%. Those are third-party observations, not UAE market figures or results achieved with LoyalsClub.
The same report associates one rebooking with 37% cancellations and two or more rebookings with 4%. That makes completed returns worth examining. It does not establish that a points programme causes the difference: the groups may differ in other ways, including how established their relationships already are.
Use the numbers as a reason to inspect your own records. They are not a target to promise your clinic manager.
Four options, with different reasons to choose them
The links below describe vendor-published capabilities checked on 11 September 2026. Confirm the exact modules, subscription and regional availability for your clinic. An unlisted capability is not evidence that a product lacks it.
| Option | Suitable situation | Documented capabilities | Staff workflow | Limits or checks |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Zenoti | You use Zenoti and want loyalty close to booking, checkout and membership management | Points, membership reporting and targeted campaigns | Loyalty can be part of the existing checkout and reporting workflow | Ask which reports and campaign tools your account includes and how you would use them each week |
| Pabau | Your clinic uses Pabau and wants points within its existing practice workflow | Configurable earning rules and loyalty-point discounts at the point of sale | Staff work through Pabau's own point-of-sale process | Confirm the required modules, patient experience and reporting; do not assume every package includes every feature |
| Fresha | The front desk already uses Fresha and wants rewards and client reporting in that environment | Points, tiers and referrals, plus client insights | Staff use the booking environment they know; patients view loyalty in their Fresha account | Check whether the actual reports and patient experience answer the clinic's needs |
| LoyalsClub | You want your clinic's branded rewards experience and an owner view of recorded visits alongside existing booking | Branded page in a shared customer app, points and rewards, sortable last-visit list, private feedback and manual push | Staff record loyalty activity with a scanner on their own phone | Separate scanning matters; no treatment tracking, scheduled outreach or implied automatic booking integration |
If you already use Zenoti
Start with its own tools. Zenoti describes loyalty points, reports on membership usage, and segmented campaigns. Its Membership Reduced Usage report is a concrete example of retention information that goes beyond a points balance.
Ask the manager to demonstrate the report using the clinic's account. Which patients does it surface? What happens after someone appears there? A useful report with no owner can sit unread in any system, including ours.
If you already use Pabau
Pabau describes earning rules and applying loyalty-point discounts at the point of sale. That may fit a clinic that wants the front desk to manage rewards where it already closes the visit.
Confirm how the chosen programme appears to patients and how staff handle redemptions. If you also need packages or clinical recall, ask about those separately. They should not disappear inside a vague request for "better loyalty".
If you already use Fresha
Fresha's documented client experience includes points, tiers and referrals. Its Client Insights report includes first and last appointments, total appointments, average visit intervals and a rebooking filter.
That is a meaningful starting point for a retention workflow. The case for another product has to be more specific than "Fresha has no retention data". It might be a different branded experience or a list your team finds easier to use. Test the difference before buying it.
Where wallet passes and stamp cards fit
A wallet pass can reduce download friction. A simple stamp card can make a straightforward reward easy to explain. Neither format is automatically unsuitable for a clinic.
Separate the patient-facing surface from the provider's software. A pass itself is a compact display; its provider may also offer reporting, links, messaging or other services. You cannot infer the entire product's limits from the rectangle in a patient's wallet.
Ask to see the reward experience, the manager's view and the follow-up workflow. Also consider presentation: benefits should feel appropriate to your practice and should not encourage treatment that the clinician does not recommend. The mechanics alone do not decide whether the programme feels considered or promotional.
Our guide to stamp cards and points for aesthetic clinics explores that choice in more detail.
Choose LoyalsClub when you want loyalty to feel like part of your clinic
You want a patient to recognize your clinic beyond the appointment: a page carrying your brand, benefits they can understand, and a way to share how the visit felt. As an owner, you want a routine for paying attention to those relationships, even while the appointment book is busy.
LoyalsClub brings those two sides together. Patients see their points, rewards and your branded page in a shared customer app. You choose the rewards your clinic offers and can work from a sortable list of recorded last-visit dates. Your booking and clinical systems stay in place.
Picture the routine: at checkout, your receptionist explains the programme and records the visit with a scan on their own phone. The patient can open your page and see the rewards they are working toward. Later, the responsible team member reviews recorded visits and private feedback, checks the clinic's records, and decides who needs a personal response. Optional push sends when the owner chooses.
The appeal is a programme patients can see and a relationship the team has a reason to review. You can inspect the customer app, staff scanner and owner dashboard before deciding whether that routine fits your clinic.
Private post-visit feedback gives the business a place to receive concerns and respond. It does not stop someone posting a public review. Referrals and configurable rewards provide additional ways to recognize the relationship without changing the clinic's published price list.
The operational bargain is explicit:
- Staff must record the activity. Running alongside a booking platform is not automatic synchronization. Missing scans can make recent patients appear inactive.
- Outreach stays manual. Optional push sends immediately when the owner chooses. There are no scheduled win-back campaigns.
- The At Risk preset is 30 to 90 days. It is not calibrated to each patient's treatment. Use the wider last-visit list and your own judgement.
- The app is shared. Patients can browse other participating businesses and their offers. No other business can see your client list, spend or visit history.
- Export has a boundary. The CSV button exports the current page, not the whole client base. Confirm what you need before committing to a workflow.
LoyalsClub does not track treatment plans, package sessions or clinical recall. Its privacy policy describes data handling; do not enter diagnoses or treatment notes into a loyalty workflow or assume that commercial records require no protection.
Setup typically takes 24 to 48 hours after we receive your required details. The 30-day trial requires a card, and billing follows the agreed terms after the trial. These are practical conditions to check, not a promise of an effortless switch.
The demo should answer a real question
Bring one example of the problem. You might want to find patients with no completed visit in the interval your clinic has chosen, review their recorded activity, and decide who should contact them. Ask the vendor to show that entire sequence.
Then ask what staff must do differently tomorrow, where the records come from, how errors are corrected, and what you can export if you leave. Compare effort as carefully as features.
If your current tools already deliver that experience and routine, use them. If you want a branded rewards programme with a clear owner view alongside your booking system, book a demo with the founder. Bring one reward idea and the question you want your manager to answer; we will walk through the patient page, staff scan and owner view. The companion guide, when booking-system loyalty is enough, gives you a decision checklist to share with your manager.
For the broader operating routine, see patient retention for aesthetic clinics. You can also estimate the cost of non-returning clients using your own assumptions before deciding how much attention the issue deserves.
Disclosure: LoyalsClub is our product. This guide uses vendor documentation rather than independent product testing; capabilities and regional availability can change. The cited benchmark describes North American Zenoti businesses in 2025, not UAE clinic outcomes or results caused by LoyalsClub.
